This event has been CANCELLED. Woodfibre LNG senior staff will share information about their safety measures, advantages of the plant as it relates to climate change, and how their operation will positively impact the Squamish community. Since 2016, they have invested more than $1 million in local non-profits and community organizations.

Join the Board of Directors for the Society’s General Meeting

June 26 from 10:15 to 1:00 at the 55 Activity Centre

Join the Board June 26 from 10:15 am to 1:00 pm at the 55 Activity Centre for our next General Meeting. The Board will provide an update for the period between February and June and there will be time for you to ask questions, offer suggestions and make your voice heard. Our Education Committee has lined up a special guest speaker to share information about local walking/hiking trails, and the Social Committee will provide refreshments and goodies. If you have any specific questions or suggestions, please let us know before the meeting so that we can prepare by sending us an email.
